Belly Boundaries

Jan 25, 2016

Dear people that are not carrying my baby, I feel like we should talk about a few things and perhaps clear the air. Apparently, my belly, and the tiny being within, is now fair game for strangers and family alike to tell me everything they know about children, childbirth and the raising of said child. All too often, resolutions become the place where we dump half-cocked notions of self-improvement only to be frustrated with ourselves when February rolls around and we’ve made little to no progress on our goals.

At Greenville OB/GYN, we’re always looking for ways to better provide for the growing needs of our ever-expanding community. That’s why we’re thrilled to announce that our own Dr. Hale Stephenson was recently board certified in Urogynecology. For those of you who don’t know, and that’s ok if you don’t, Urogynecology is a sub-specialty of gynecology for the treatment of pelvic floor disorders, such as stress urinary incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse.
