Eating right and getting exercise are essential keys to living a long and healthy life; and in many cases, it only takes simple changes to make big differences.

Infertility can leave couples feeling alone, on an island, like no one else could possibly understand what they’re going through. And as stressful and as heartbreaking infertility can be, the problem is more common than you might think. This commonality isn’t extended to just women. Nearly 4 million people, or almost half of the entire population struggling with infertility, are men. With so many people experiencing some form of infertility, it’s important to note that support and treatment options exist to help those who are having a hard time getting pregnant.

May 11th through the 17th is National Women’s Health Week. Kicking off on Mother’s day, this weeklong event gives women across America the chance to celebrate women’s wellness through a variety of activities and educational opportunities. The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services created Women’s Heath Week with the goal of empowering women to make health a top priority in their lives. It also serves as a time to pass on valuable education about what it means to be well.
